Simple Sandwich Bread

Simple and Delicious Sandwich Bread

Equipment

  • 1 Bread Machine (can also be adapted for a stand mixer or hand-kneading)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • ¾ tsp salt
  • 3 cups flour bread or all-purpose
  • 2 ¼ tsp bread machine yeast 1 packet

Instructions

  • Make sure kneading attachment is placed in the baking pan
  • Add water, sugar, coconut oil, salt, and flour into the baking pan in that exact order
  • Make an indentation in the top for the yeast
  • Add yeast to the indented space
  • Close lid and select the "DOUGH" setting
  • Press "START"
  • Once dough cycle is complete, remove dough from the baking pan onto a lightly floured surface. Make sure the kneading attachment is not hidden in the dough
  • Flatten the dough with your hands, removing as many air bubbles as possible
  • Roll the dough into a loaf shape, making sure the ends are tucked under
  • Grease a bread loaf pan or line it with parchment paper
  • Gently place the dough into the bread pan
  • Proof dough for at least 30 minutes or until doubled in size. Some ovens have a proof setting which works great. You can also place the dough in the oven with just the light on to create a warm safe place for the dough to rise.
  • Preheat oven to 350℉
  • Bake for 30 minutes
  • Let cool and Enjoy!
